Although Apple has yet to launch the iPhone 15, tech enthusiasts have already started circulating rumors about an even more exciting launch that should happen in the near future: the iPhone 16 Ultra.
“With so much speculation surrounding iPhone 15 features, details about the iPhone 16 series have also surfaced,” says technology expert Evans Karanja at Lonelyaxe. Although there is no official information about the iPhone 16 Ultra, rumors in the industry say that it will be released in 2024 with five models. iPhone 16 Ultra will be the top model in the lineup, including iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max”.

What are its most impressive features?

Not only is the phone bigger, Karanja says, it’s also better. “Considering the launch of the iPhone 14 Plus with a 6.7-inch screen, Apple can continue to increase the size of the device,” he says. “The screen is likely to be LTPO Super Retina XDR OLED with at least 4K resolution.”

With a new and improved A-series chip, possibly an A18 or higher, Karanja says we’re looking forward to better performance and speed. Also, the Ultra models are likely to have at least 12GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage, he adds.

“The real highlight of Apple is their camera system,” Karanja says. “We can expect a triple or even a quad-camera setup on the back of the device. The cameras could also feature enhanced low-light capabilities and advanced AI-powered features.”

“Of course, all of these predictions are based on industry speculation and rumor, and Apple may choose to go in a different direction with its future iPhone releases,” says Karanja. “Only time will tell what the iPhone 16 Ultra (or whatever Apple decides to call it) will actually offer.”

According to the rumors, Karanja says that the iPhone 16 Ultra will be launched on February 24, 2024.
What is the expected cost?
Buckle up because this model is not going to come cheap. “The iPhone 16 Ultra is going to have a hefty price tag, probably retailing at $1,932,” says Karanja. “iPhone 16 Ultra costs a few dollars more than its predecessor, but it’s totally worth the price because it has top-notch features.”
Is it worth it?
Finally, the question everyone wants to know. It will be expensive, but is the iPhone 16 Ultra worth it? According to Karanja, it will certainly be so. “Every new Apple launch deserves an upgrade,” says Karanja. “The same goes for the iPhone 16 Ultra. With the aforementioned features, users will get a significant increase in performance, camera, and battery life.”
